HSU & CO. Vitamin E-400 IU

HSU & CO.'s Vitamin E-400 IU contains all natural vitamin E, measured as d-alpha tocopherol in a preservative-free soft gel. The capsule also contains the beta, gamma, and delta fractions of tocopherols to insure you are getting the full benefit of natural Vitamin E supplementation.

Vitamin E is an extremely important fat-soluble antioxidant which insures the stability and integrity of cellular tissues and membranes throughout the body by preventing free radical damage. In addition, vitamin E may support the immune system, vision, and overall circulatory health. In an effort to determine the value of vitamin E, studies have been conducted in many indications, such as aging, arthritis, osteoporosis, and high blood pressure. Numerous studies have also identified low levels of vitamin E in patients with bowel disorders when compared to healthy patients, but there has not yet been a link to severity of the disease.

There are many good sources of vitamin E in our diet (such as vegetable oils, wheat germ oils, seeds, nuts, and soybeans), but the fact that vitamin E is destroyed by heat and oxidation during cooking and storage highlights the need for supplementation to insure an adequate daily source of vitamin E.

Directions: For adults, take one (1) softgel daily, preferably with meals.
