the book The Choice is Clear written by Alan E. Banik,O.D.,
Dr.Brown Landone - who lived to the ripe old age of 98 -says:
"Hard water seals each cell with a film, so oxygen
cannot reach the imprisoned cells. Nature then develops
new cells which thrive on less oxygen. These cells are called
Cancer cells. Distilled water often frees the imprisoned
cells and allows the oxygen to reach the cells." Doesn't
it seem logical that a lifetime intake of distilled water
could have beneficial effects? I think so.
When
you think about health maintenance, you think of eating
right, and taking supplements. What is the reason for these
ingredients and what is the right balance of each?
Like
the earth, our bodies are approximately 2/3 (70%) water.
Water plays an important role in controling the temperature,
as well as circulation and elimination. In fact, when the
body is parched, it is like a drought to the crops. Then
what kind of water should we drink?
I
had an interesting experience that showed me even more about
the value of distilled water.
Recently,
I started to grow alfalfa sprouts at the Retreat Center
and I was not very successful. The seeds would barely germinate
and hardly grew even though I faithfully rinsed the jars
3 times daily. I asked a horticulturist for the reason and
she suggested I use non-treated water. So I started using
distilled water and now all is well with my sprouts.
